Community Building
We’re rooted in not only building community for our children, but for our families as a whole. Playcircles are for the children, but they’re a time to connect with likeminded parents too and share wisdom and guidance with one another.
Holistic Education
We understand early childhood development through a holistic lens, honoring children for their entire being. Inspired by Waldorf education, indigenous parenting, and
Sun Roots Playcircle was founded by Daniélle and Maya—mothers, doulas, and friends.
We created Sun Roots to expand beyond conventional parent-child classes by offering mixed-age playcircles that incorporate multicultural influences, nature-honoring activities, guided outdoor adventures, yoga and more to holistically enrich each child & family.
